Musical clearout Guitars, bass and Amps!

I’m having a clear out because I have too much stuff, need the space and don’t want to drag all this extra stuff with me next time I move house. I really don’t want to use ebay so I’m trying everywhere else first and hopefully won’t have to use it! I’ll have some mountain bikes to put up for sale soon and I’ll have another guitar to sell when I’ve found some tremolo springs to put in it and found a high E to make it a full set of strings. For now here’s what I’ve got to offer.

First up is a Ninja Star Les Paul copy.

As you can see from the pictures it’s black with a cream binding and chrome hardware. It has a low action and has had new strings recentlyish. I think I strung it with 8’s but it’d probably benefit from a heavier set of strings as the action is pretty low higher up the neck or maybe a tweak of the truss rod. It all works as it should and it sounds good. There are 2 dings in it, one on the back of the body at the top and one on the back of the headstock as can be seen in the pictures. The only other thing wrong with this guitar is the plastic cap is missing from the pickup selector switch.

Next up is a bit of a Frankenstein horror bass.

Next up is a big old acoustic I “rescued” from a friends attic.

I have no idea what make/model/year this guitar is but it sounds pretty good. The strings are dead and the neck is a little twisted but I always had it lying around in some open/altered tuning just for messing about on. The nut is a bit crazy and is too narrow for the slot that’s been cut so it occasionally shifts which would be easily sorted by just fitting a wider nut but I just never got around to it.

Moving on to amps I’m offering my Epiphone Valve Junior head up for sale.

5 watts of pure class A valve amp tone at decent volumes! Here’s some specs from Epiphone:

I bought it with the intention if using it for recording guitar as my V-Amp is a bit pants but I couldn’t be bothered setting it up for recording every time and my V-Amp is much more convenient as I can record on headphones. The amp sounds great though, nice clean tones and then a good blues overdrive/crunch as you turn it up then up into the fully blown rock sound with it cranked, put a tubescreamer infront of it and it REALLY sings! I never play it though hence selling it, it’s never been gigged and probably been played for about 3 hours maximum and is in as new condition as you can see from the pictures.

Finally I have a 15” bass speaker cab.

I bought this homemade cab off ebay about 7 years ago to go with my Warwick head and 4x10 cab because I thought I needed a full stack. I was wrong. I’ve only ever used the full rig a couple of times as either just my 4x10 or this 1x15 was more than enough for the gigs I’ve been playing so seeing as I prefer the 4x10 I figured I’d sell this one. When I bought it the guy told me the speaker was rated 800 watts at 8 ohms. I’ve been using it with my 400watt Warwick head and never had a single problem with it at all. It’s seen some use and been gigged and the condition of the outside of the cab reflects that but the speaker is fine as can be seen in the pictures and it’d be an easy job to paint it if it bothered you, it’d also be a 5 minute job to spray the grille if you didn’t like the “custom spiral design” This cab also stands on 4 rubber feet that you can’t see in the pictures due to them being at the bottom in the carpet.

As 800 watts is pretty meaty I’m looking for £100 for this cab.


I’d obviously prefer collection on all these items, not only as postage would be horrendous but so you can test stuff and look over it to make sure you’re happy with it. You’d be welcome to come and test any of the stuff before buying. I have plenty of guitars lying around to try amps with and I work weird shifts so I can usually be around at sensible times.

I’m open to offers on this stuff so any sensible offers will be considered.
