Infuriating problem

Hi, my pc is playing up and its annoying the hell out of me.
When viewing webpages/PDF's etc etc it intermittently wont scroll, unless i keep clicking on the little tab at the bottom of the page.
Similary when writing text i have to keep clicking the curser to put it back on the page...
Hope i explained that right
Anyway, any help on the matter would be cool

Sounds like another application is 'stealing' attention away from the window you're really working on.

When it stops scrolling or stop responding to you text input, does the window bar at the top fade slightly, as if you're using a different window?

If so, boot in safe mode and see if you're still having the same problem, and if it works, boot normally and kill all uneccesary startup items with a startup manager.
