Went out for a bit of a hoon earlier and on the way back had to stop for petrol and fags. (nice ride BTW Thumbs Up lots of other riders out and about today)
Had been waiting at the exit for quite a while coz there was a lot of cars going past when this guy (biker) sees me waiting there...slows down... and stops to let me out.
"Nice one" me thinks so i give him the compulsory head nod and start to pull out but just as i do the car behind him decides he`s not gonna be so charitable and wait so he floors it and goes past the other biker making me slam the anchors on to avoid going into the side of him Rolling Eyes
Luckily for me i was exiting slowly instead of just going for it with the bike at full tilt like i`d usually do on that road...otherwise it would`ve been nasty.

One of these days i`m gonna follow one of these fuckwit drivers and give them a proper leathering for nearly knocking me off Rolling Eyes
I`m getting seriously pissed off with some peoples attitudes towards anyone on a bike. Exclamation

oh... and if you happen to be the rider that let me out......cheers Thumbs Up Karma

Do it, follow them.

i did it last sunday, i was out around Newark by myself for a quick hoon, i was overtaking a car on a really wide road, large enough for 2 lanes really, i got 'near' the white lines in the center and some nob in his 4x4 wearing gay sunglasses thinks it' s a good idea to flash his lights at me and do the 'wanker' sign.

fair enough.

next round about, turned around, quickly caught him up, sat behind him for abit which was pure fun to see him constantly checking his mirrors and losing concentration, got to a dual carrigeway so i got by the side of him and he just would not look accross, anyway when i was done laughing i cruised off checking my mirrors to see if he'd act all hard again and call me a wanker. he didn't.

i was sort of dissapointed because i was in the mood to have a go at his wing mirror aswell Sad

I road raged at the weekend and I was on my push bike.

Riding along through York town centre with the girlfriend in front of me. They had the road dug up on my side and a traffic light controlled contra-flow.

I'd stopped in the traffic, wasn't really a gap to safely filter through. Lights went green and we set off, traffic moving really slowly so we were keeping pace with the cars in front.

Next news I hear a revving of an engine and pipping of a horn. Look round to see a gold volvo estate trying to push its way past me (I'm passing through a contra-flow so roadworks on the left of me, pavement on the right).

A dirty look didn't seem to do the trick and he persisted in forcing his way past. I gave him an open handed slap on the top of his roof as he went past. This stopped him.

I carried on and took up a "command position" in the centre of the lane. He tried again, faster this time and pretty much forced me over to the side of the road. He got a few more hearty bangs on the roof on the way past at which point he stopped again and wound down his window. Before he could say anything I asked him if he had some sort of a problem, loudly in my best angry Scotsman voice. I then informed him he was lucky to still have both wing mirrors attached to his car.

He then finally overtook safely, went hammering down the street with the engine screaming and stopped up ahead. He then went as if to get out of the car, realised a) How big I was and b) How much of a crowd had now gathered and thought better of it.

I probably wouldn't have made such a big deal of it if but he did nearly have me off and totaly unecessarily because the bikes were being held up by the traffic in front. His next target would also have been my girlfriend (who by the time I'd finished my tirade, was well out of there).

I did it once. Some gimp overtook me while I was overtaking a truck on a dual carriageway. I followed him when he turned off and put up with his ugly kids gurning out of the back window for about ten miles.

When he pulled into a social club car park I made sure he saw me on the phone. About an hour later, he didn't look so clever as he was led outside to the cop car.

I later got a letter from Staffs police telling me he'd been found guilty of DC&A and ended up about £150 lighter in the wallet.

I was expecting a more horrific ending to this story tbh...something along the lines of:
"when he finally stopped i quickly wrenched his kids through the back window, severed their heads from the bodys with my satan axe, then laughed demonically at his wife while i gutted him from groin to gullet" Twisted Evil

*Note to self: curb your over-active imagination!!*

Had a run in on my push bike. I was approaching a right-hand turn and looked over my shoulder and saw a red fiesta behind me. I put my arm out, waited a couple of seconds then, as the car was hanging back, I started to edge across the lane. I was just about to lean into the turn when I suddenly heard the engine rev behind me and the car went past on the wrong side of the road about 6 inches from me.

My blood immediately boiled and I chased the car down to the next set of traffic lights which were on red, went up the driver's side and thumped on the window. I don't think the driver realised I had been chasing him as he literally jumped out of his skin at the noise.

I then proceeded to give him an absolute tirade of abuse which he couldn't ignore due to the long light change.

Not sure if it did any good, but certainly made me feel better!! Very Happy

Hi there, First post so be gentle on me..
Think anybody on two wheels seems to get these 'run ins'
Just last week i was riding in rush hour making my way past the traffic which was at a standstill, came to the roundabout only to be blocked by a car to far over for me to pass, no problem i thought I'll sit and wait, soon as the car pulls off the taxi next to me suddenly accelerates and moves over to cut me up 'assh@le!' Dont know if he was aware of what he did or just another cager oblivious to anyone else. Soon as theres a space me and the taxi driver pull on to the roundabout, come to the exit which is 2 lanes, he goes left lane i go right lane as i'll be turning right, he comes up behind traffic and decides hes gonna swing into the right lane with no indication to avoid the traffic, obviously im there so he nearly drives into me!! He then proceeds to sit on his horn as he pulls behind me as if IM in the wrong! So i slammed on the brakes and stopped, turned around and he starts shouting at me saying he could of wiped me out! I shout back explaing 'nicely' how he should be using his mirrors but think fuck it he cant here my abuse through my lid and facemask so i finish with a few hand gestures and make a quick getaway as the police roll around the corner! I hate people like this as i seem to get many of them round where i live! Also usually the tits who pull out on me then give me a dirty look??! Rant over!
Anyone else been done over even though their not in the wrong?

Just driving through the village this morning and a moron in a parked car decided to pull out just as I got behind him.

After swerving round him and giving appropriate hand gestures a woman in another parked car, a couple of hundred yards down the road, opened her door on me!

I was tempted to ride though it but decided against Smile

Must be something in the air.

if you were on a shitty bike and wanted to upgrade...that would`ve been the perfect scenario for an "accidentally-on purpose-accident" Laughing

As tempting as it would be to do that its probably not worth it as for starts it would bloody hurt and secondly they'll only pin it on you as your fault, I crashed when i was 18 after a dopey woman pulled out of a junction and i went into the side of her, she looked right at me and seen me coming, She admitted fault there but when the police and everyone got involved they took me to court and i was blamed? wtf? so ended up with CD10 on me licence! Even got a letter off her insurance company asking me for something like £7000 for her written off car bloody cheeks!
