What does yours do?

Is it inactive, do you simply recieve from the world and output necessarily, or can you also recede into your head and simply think about stuff?

For instance, throw down your barriers, if you will, just imagine, what it would be like, to shit the letter F.

Discuss.

The world within my head is so much more fun, exciting and glorious than the boredom, stressful, responsible and harsh reality outside.

That's why I rarely venture out these days... Laughing

Exactly my point, Shaggy.

Along the same theme, which country would you least like to give birth to? (In terms of shape and/or mass)

I too prefer my own little world sometimes, as real life can be so utterly shit and uninvolving.

Do we use imagination as a crutch, as a species? We do not know if any other type of animal is autonomous enough to be able to percieve situations that have not occured...is it only us?

So it's not a country, but Antartica would be a bitch.

Fecking huge, very cold, and with a big spiky bit to ruin one's birth canal.

The thought saddens me.

Tbh, I think Italy would be a sneaky little bastard, with that fucking heel-ma-bob.

Imagine a window frame, and the camera is rolling. A mans head and chest is there. He is jovial, smiling, and waves.

What object would be the most amusing to come flying from one side of the screen and utterly demolish him?

My first bet is on Steven Seagal, muttering as he flies into the frame and decimates jovial guy.

Or one of those old fridge freezers that you have in your garage.

I imagine you'd be screaming out its name also, to be honest. And not in a "Oh baby this feels good" kinda way.

Actually me too, whenever my missu and little 'un are late or driving around I always have this thought in the back of my head of them dying in some car accident somewhere and me never seeing them again. Or when the little 'un is in bed and I can't hear breathing on the monitor I imagine she's died from cot death.
I'm always imagining scenarios where near and dear relatives die and wondering who would be best left beind together. For example, I think I'd deal with death in the family and the aftermath better than most.

Sounds worse than it is, and I can think all this without panicking or worrying or having to do anything about it. Feels weird though, and I often wonder if other people have imaginations in which similar things happen.
Judging by the above thoughts on shitting or giving birth to countries and letters probably not! Laughing

I'm able to imagine, what it looks like, how I fwould feel, how they would feel, its horrible.

One of the reasons I play computer games at night is becuase my imagination does this shit to me even more so when I'm trying to sleep Thumbs Down

Or sometimes i try to think of what it was like before the road, or who decided the way the path went, what would the colour blue taste like, Why don't pubes grow long like the hair on you head but still grows when you trim it, is there a Veet for beard? Do trees have dreams, ????????????

I spend most of my time day dreaming to be honest. Laughing

Country wise, hmm. Russia would be crap purely because of the shear size of it.

I have quite an overactive imagination, I can never sit and not think about things.

When I flew to Ireland I was sat watching the wings flappy its move, fascinated by the mechanics and imagining certain components failing....

Apparently it can be quite unnerving to who evers sat next to you with a line like:
'imagine, hypothetically if a wing bit thing stopped working right, what would happen and what would you do?' Laughing

My imagination is superb...thats why when watching a film that has a disappointing end, my own dreams and imagination make them FAR FAR FAR more interesting. Mr. Green

I can't imagine Aus being a nice shaped country to have squeezing out, but then what's the preference?

Me, I'd vote for Taiwan I think.

Sorry for the late reply. I've been watching tonyts50's thread like a hawk, I'm afraid.

Despite the fact that the French, individually at least, are typically nice people (as are most nationalities), I really hate the state that country is in, once you leave the presentable bits of the major cities.
Paris, as a capital city, is distinctly more minging than London, in my experience. Before anyone goes off on one about the romantic connotations of Paris, go take a look at the suburbs. They make Bow and Whitechapel look clean and progressive. Hell, I'm happier living in Newham than I would be in the Parisian suburbs...
