Perhaps ATI Tool might do the job? ____________________ Space Monkey #7

Edit, not sure how well it works but i think you can also set it up to overclock the gpu when you start a game up, then turn it back down when you close it. |
Looks interesting, have you tried NVIDIA's own utility? It also allows you to overclock (both GPU and MoBo/CPU), control fans and has a good 'autotune' system which slowly increments all clocks one at a time until the system becomes unstable, then backs it down to find a stable setting.
You can produce a number of clocked profiles(either manually, or by using the autotune), and then apply custom rules to it i.e. load setting X when application Y is started, when application Y is closed, apply setting Z etc etc.
With my current system, i can run CoD WaW at my max res with all the graphics/texture bells and whistles set to max, at standard bus speeds, without any glitching or problems - all i need to do is set my GPU's fan speed to max, which keeps it at a steady 50 degrees under full load. With auto fan control, the temp rises up to 65 - 70 degs, and i start to get some glitching.
I'm waiting to see a demo of Modern Combat 2, as i reckon it should be a bit more demanding, and may need a bit of a system tweak to get it to run smoothly at high settings. ____________________ Space Monkey #7

Think i'll give that a go too mistergixer
I'm a bit stuck on my counter strike problem, its called mouse lag apparantly and the biggest connection ive seen either falls down the a logitech gaming mouse or ATI graphics cards. Hmm maybe its a voltage problem? ____________________ Haz ER-5, innit! |
