I'm pretty sure there's more. When you have a populace who's attitude to road safety generally consists of 'meh, if god wants me dead i'll die' then it doesn't exactly help them behave rationally.

Which might be why, i've just discovered, that India (if that's where it is) has the highest death rate for road users in the world, and incredibly a report reckons"at least 13 people die every hour in road accidents in the country".

That's a lot of dead people.

Imagine they don't die and keep breeding...
