Is this some kind of piss take? Why is there a big heavy looking bike with all modern styling but with a 160cc motor??

It just doesn't make sense!

Althought found a gem called an RX135 if the engine is anythig like that in an rxs100............

Because it's the law in other countries. Just like we have a Ninja 250 that isn't really a Ninja or Aprilia RS125s and Yamaha R125s with massive fairings that aren't filled.

It's for the Indian market... You don't need anything more then 160cc.

It's only 11kg more then a CBR125 anyway.

Thing is, people always say things like that. But I personally wouldn't "potter" with anything that's smaller than a 600 (with the exception of supermoto singles, of course......

You're just spoilt and grown used to all of that power Wink

I'm still on a 125 and have been stuck on one for 2 years now craving just the opportunity to try out something more! So I think I would probably appreciate (to begin with) a 600 a lot more than you after longing for so long.

But hey, each to their own, I don't want to judge without knowing the facts.

ms51ves3: why does it need 500 miles? Are you teaching it how to be a piston?

It just seems wierd.... To imagine all the cool rich Indian kids are ragging them around while everyones else is on all manner on ancient machinery......

That of course is the stereotype of asian motorcycles? Anyone been over recently to comment on what they have? I get the impression they are keen on "underbone" motorcycles? Like a cross between a scoot and a bike?

Why does that sentence make me think of a knife?

Makes you realise what kind of society we live in today.

I'll get my coat.......

.....and pipe and slippers......

Probably because they're now built in India.

Why shouldn't it have modern styling?
