But can anyone tell me what this is and what it does? I found it hiding under the maintainence cover on my '01 NSR125.....
Is it the control for the power valve?

Should the little gold tab on the wheel (with the little oil patch on it - maybe hard to see) be going round further with the throttle fully open? It looks at if it should rest flat on the silver surface to the left of it when fully open......but it doesn't go round that far!

Any explanation appreciated! (i'm still learning alot).

The power valve itself is on the cyclinder, by the exhaust.

On my older model NSR the servo motor for it is under the tank on the RHS. Just about the valve.

Good old oil pump.
Fun when you set the oil to its maximum setting.

Whats that, huge clouds of blue smoke,
Enjoy that driver sitting behind me that now smells like oil!
