Hi guys, I'm looking for a "learner legal" field bike to replace my scooter, as I want to do a little off-roading while still being able to commute near enough daily.
I'd absolutely love an XR 125, but it's not that important, would consider something very similar.
I look forward to your replies (if any )

You can do a :wanted: ad here for that.
When are you coming over next? We could always go down to the lidget so you could try the xr. The 400 is like the 125, just bigger and more power.
I forgot to tell you before you left that there might not be a massive selection of off road tyres for the xr due to it's skinny rims, but i may be wrong. You could always see what bill thomas has in stock. I don't think that they will be more than £35-£40 new anyway for the pair. My set was only £38 for the set new and they are fatter.
Don't forget to see if you can sell the scoot at ron daley's ore bennets in the morning. They might even have a XR125 in. I know they sell new nxr125's which are identical to the xr's but have drum brakes instead of discs. Plus they are almost a £1000 cheaper new than the xr's are.
Go round to your step dad's in the morning and rob £800 off him for that xr from ebay. You know you want it.
Did you manage to get a life size card board cut out of one to run round the house with? I'll do a tape recording of the engine sound on mine so it will sound a little more real.
Have a look here. They have information on byways and other useful stuff.
There is also apparently a track in Sheffield run by the police on an old landfill site but i can't find any information about it yet. ____________________ One day i will rule the world, just not today. |
