Exaust downpipe nuts CBR 600 F-X

Hi

I need new downpipe nuts for my cbr and cannot find what I need on the net anywhere.

As far as I know the studs are all still fine, but I've lost a couple of nuts down to not re-torqueing them after the new downpipes! Oops! Embarassed

I've tried my usual place of Pro Bolt but can't see anything on there.

Any ideas about where to get the right nuts??

I can obviously find nuts on other sites but I have no idea which ones are the right ones just by looking on the net.

Also I am struggling with one bolt on my fairing... nicely rusted in to place, tried WD-40 and the like... any tips to get this out with out me having to drill it and using easy outs?? Question

If you dont know what size the nuts are i suggest buying genuine Honda ones.

Try plus gas on the seized screw. It works miracles.

Another vote for Dave Silver. I think I paid about £3 inc postage for a few studs and a few nuts.

They are Stainless Capped nuts I believe.

But standard M6 nuts ought to fit.

I'm a fan of brass ones. In the unlikely event that they seize on, the thread in the (20p) nut ought to strip before the stud breaks.

Item #11 They are stainless, but they are effectively just long nuts, not capped like binge suggested.

What are the studs made out of anyways? I put some new ones in when i did my downpipes, think they are aluminium? So shouldn't really rust up and seize too badly...
