YOUR THOUGHTS ON THE YAMAHA TRX850 FOR PROJECT/GENERAL

hi, thinking of getting a TRX850 he's asking £600 not sure what year as i have not looked into it in detail would of thought a early year from the price but just wanted your thoughts on one for a project and your thoughts on them in general.

Only made from 96 till 01, I suspect from the price it'll be the former.

I've got a 97 TRX and its doing me proud so far bar a few personal little niggles. I would like it to do better in some departments but the handling and pulling power make up for those.

I paid £795 with 33k on the clocks, blue spot brakes and pretty much clean and tidy.

thanks for the reply. You've put alot more confidence in me to buy it, All the reviews i've read have pretty much said the same. Think i'll prob go and have a proper look at the bike and go from there. Cheers.
