So i slowed to a crawl and pulled in front of the group4 van and slowley edged ahead of it..... the plod pulled out...
I thought oh well here comes the tug.....but no they overtook me and pissed off phew... ____________________ I once saw a bloke shagging a donkey.... in Saudi arabia. I overtook a Bedord Rascal van once on my 125 whilst going down a really steep hill. Man, it felt good! ____________________ Harold_Shand wrote: I suppose it's like anything, you get your fingers burned when you start out, you learn from it and eventually become a complete arsehole about the whole thing. |

Whenever I have a BMW/Vauxhall Astra/Ford Focus/Audi etc the common unmarked cars in front I tend to check for the extra aerials, second nearside mirror etc before trying to overtake.
However in Bristol we seem to have either: X5s, M5s, Skoda Octavia, Vauxhall Omega or Audi A3.
Be vigilant! . There are bloody loads of unmarked cars where I live. ____________________ "Four wheels move the body, two wheels move the soul."

The other day I was driving behind a marked car, he then pulled into a turning on the right, a dead end, and then pulled back out behind me...shit I thought! He sped up close behind me and then turned into the next turning on the right lol

This afternoon I had an ambulance in front of me on the way to work with it's blue's and two's going, roads weren't very busy and it wasn't going terribly fast. So I kept up with it and overtook several cars that had pulled over to let it past... until the last car was a newish Volvo with its lights on that made me shit myself thinking it was a cop car, it wasn't but I learnt not to do that again!
We have a few Volvo's and Volvo estates round my area that are undercover. ____________________ Previous: Aprilia Habana Retro 50cc (beauty), Yamaha SR125 (fell apart), Honda XR125 (nippy little commuter), Honda SLR650 (Geewhizz), Yamaha Diversion 900S (Smoooooth) written off courtesy of a stupid escaped horse.

I do heroic overtakes on my 125 all the time, normally on the A27 when a big vehicle is doing 50MPH on the single lane sections. I love seeing the faces in the line of cars I overtake sitting behind the slow vehicle. Jealousy!
The other day a caravan owner flicked his lit cigarette at me as I was overtaking him on a sudden downhill sweep of the road where it also widens a bit.
How rude ____________________ will never give up his CG. I look at my fuel gauge more as a progress bar than a fuel gauge.
G: With my GSXR I do often effectively use it as a scooter with a clutch in town.
ms51ves3: why does it need 500 miles? Are you teaching it how to be a piston? |

I have chased someone before who flicked a fag out the window at me... Looking back if I could of kept up (was on the 125) I dunno what I'd have done. Probably knocked on his window had a stern word and then road off with my L-plate flapping away haha ____________________ Past: Honda x8rs, Honda City fly, Honda Hornet 250, Honda VFR750, Yamaha xt600e.

I was doing 50 - 60 on a 30 road with a copper behind me the other day Nearly shit myself when I saw them in my mirrors. Didn't pull me though Might of been because it was down a hill on a county-ish road. ____________________ KTM 990 SMT & Suzuki DR-Z 400 SM |

You didn't have L's, youd just past your test, you could follow him onto the motorway but I couldn't IIRC (though you couldnt be arsed taking the 125 on the M6).

Common unmarked cars here in plymouth - Scoda Octavia/Black Volvo estate/Audi A3/Ford Focuses/Ford Mondeo ST!
They all have few things in common, most of them have 100% tinted back windows and they are always washed before they go out on duty. Also watch out for hidden blue lights on the roof. ____________________ Theory Passed: 23/10/2008 49/74 Bike Test Passed: 05/01/2009 1 minor
