i got a moped it is a gilera runner would you lot say this is a good make and model its a 50cc and goes 50mph it is derestricted it is a 2000 plate and i bought it for 300 pounds

Yes its a good enough vehicle and plenty common; should get you from A to B just fine. That seems like a low price? something wrong with it or am I out of touch?

damn straight who needs punctuation anyway its totally unnecessary in my opinion have to agree with the above post though well done for not thinking it does 70 it seems like a good bike from the above posts just dont get caught doing more than 30 on it if youre under 17 should be good to get some experience are you thinking of sitting your bike test

whoa qiuk replies on here cheers oh yh and im only 15 at the moment lool im almost 16 then il pass my cbt haha and my friend has a 50cc geared bike its a derbi senda and recons its gona go 70-80mph and tries to make me jelouse but i rekon hes gona get on it and it isnt gona go that fast. i dont think theres is nothing wrong with it just bald tire i havent got it through the mot yet and the battery is run out i need to get as new one i tried to charge it but for a night i attached it to the bike and it like went to start but then the battery died and no it doesnt have a kick start damn lol sorry for the long post everyone

well just to let you know..you stated its going to go 50 and is derestricted..no point doing your CBT..its going to count for nothing as you are limited to 31mph.. as per your CBT restricts at 16...

MOT..need to look at lights, brakes, tyres, exhaust, steering...the general stuff...

well i rang up a guy because it wouldnt start and i thought it would be a spark plug i couldnt get it off and rang up a place down the road from me to ask if they could losen it they sed no but they gave me a number i rang it and they sed that they would come round today to pick the bike up staright away i was thinking oh no they are going to make out its more than what it is they rang up a day later and sed its fuel injected and that its a bit buggard and they need to do work on it and the forks or something like that need doing is this going to cost much do you think also what do you mean about the 50 mph and the mot and the speed do u mean if it goes that fast then they have to restrict it when they mot it thankyou

Hi Punkrox,

I feel we should let you know that most of the bikers on here are very knowledgeable and would be willing to help you in whatever way they can. However, if you could try and write your post using some form of grammar you would be more likely to receive a useful response.

We've mostly all been riding since 16/17 if not earlier and so would probably be able to help but an understandable post would be appreciated, it goes a long way on this forum.
