Hi, Got one last weekend, and find it does not report locations of all fixed and hardly any mobile cameras, nor specs on w/bound M25 A12 to J27 M11. Anyone else have problems? I have latest download - DB: C9104 -.

Also while I can live with false reports, keeps me alert, tells me my 20mph zone thru high st has a red light camera, speed limit 60mph!!!!!!!!!

This unit gets good reviews in MCN. Having a battle with Novus in getting refund, usual stuff- no one else has probs blah blah blah.....etc-.

Wish I'd got Snooper sapphire now, borrowed friends but volume not loud enough, least it was accurate on same route.

cheers all

Don't know if this helps, I had a Novus Alpha in the car, and it was full of errors, AFAIK it use the same database, eventually got my money back and got a Snooper which even listed a local mobile site 4 days after it went live. Good luck

some of them don't work properly for some reason, i don't trust the gps stuff with the speed camera extras on them better off just being more alert to your surroundings

The Rider is just for cameras not a satnav. Only need it for out of local use. No matter how alert you are, if signage is missing or speed is listed as say 60 and mobile cam zone sign and then the repeaters are saying 40 (as happened recently to me, luckily no scamera van).

Is anyone, 14 days later when they get a NIP in the post going to travel 196 miles (one way) just to check if the signs were correct. No you'd just pay up and assume you'd missed a sign. thats why I want something that would warn of the actual limit in that place.

Once I saw the reapeaters at 40 I slowed to 40. Sad

Agree, had a local speed limit change about a year ago dual carriageway from 70 to 40. mobile van at 1/4 mile in, raking in thousands, then recently in local paper said 10 motorists had the Fixed Penalty's dropped as the signage was not correct (now correct), but the scammers rely on ignorance. get a Snooper it works.

Couldn't you get a Satnav for that price and use the PGPSW speed cam database?

yep i could but bit big and just want something simple for cams only, and will visibly flash a warning, can't always hear it at 70.
