You see, I don't actually like Sun-Pat ... I prefer 'own brand' supermarket stuff*, Sun-Pat tries too hard ....

*Saying that, just finished some Waitrose stuff and it was not all that ... a bit 'gooey' too!! Sad

I await with baited breath for the "Which Marmalade - Shredded or Shredless" thread.

In order to belay any accusations of redundancy or off-topic-ness. Peanut butter is for dicks, it's disgusting in any form, smooth, crunchy or otherwise. Indeed: the merest whiff of the malodorous substance leaves me wretching and boaking enthusiastically.

Sunpat Smooth (although I highly recommend the Waitrose one - very very close).
Fresh Bread.
Real Butter.

I can cope with anyone wanting no butter on the bread, or crunchy.
However, if anyone mentions Marmite and Peanut Butter... or Jam and Peanut Butter ... then they will get the same "Fu*k Off" that my missus gets when she makes that cr*p.

I love marmite... Never thought to put it with peanut butter though... I'll agree that sounds gippy. PB&J has always intrigued me though, just never got around to trying it. Oh and peanut butter on a buttered brioche is lip-smacking tastiness!

............unless of course you make your own, then you can have it as smooth or as crunchy as you desire, as you just turn off the food processor when 'perfect'.

No nasty chemicals and additives in it then either Wink

It was either Whole Earth or SUMA that did an immense hazelnut butter. Not seen it in years.

Crunchy on buttered toast. Great on digestives if I'm really starving and haven't got any cheese in.

Awesome with celery sticks too, could easily demolish half a jar.

hmm, then maybe you need some: NoNuts Golden PeaButter

please note: i am in no way connected to this canadian brand, I just figured that you can get nut and gluten free versions of everything else so it stands to reason..

Very Happy
