I know there are multiple threads about mod 2 and I'm sorry that I have to post another one, but I needed some specific things cleared up, and I'd be grateful for any help!

Ok, So I passed my mod 1 last week, My mod 2 is booked for this Monday... I'm so scared Neutral

These are the things I'm confused/ not clear about (not in any specific order);

1: Round abouts
- I know I'm always meant to stay on the left unless turning right.
But say for example there was 4 exits, I was told to take the third exit AND there are 3 lanes. Do I still stick to the left lane? or would it be ok to take the center lane?

2: Speed Bumps
- When I was doing my CBT, they showed us how we were meant to go round them (around the right side of the bump).
But other people have been telling me differently??

To be honest, they're the only things I'm really worried about right now! :'(

Thanks for the help people! Thumbs Up

i took every roundabout using the right hand lane.
i went round the speed bumps in the safest way

i passed 1st time

as for your "oh noooooooes 4 exits!!!!!!!! Crying or Very sad " question

anything on or after straight on take it on the right lane, bearing in mind that if you are going straight on judge it by the size of the queue of people waiting to join the roundabout malarky.

my 2 pence

any roundabout with 3 lanes up to it will have road markings, so go with them.
Left hand lane for left and straight on
Right hand lane for right and straight on if dual carraigeway

Cutting a corner is when you turn off a main road onto a minor road and turning too early so you go onto the other side of the road
Normally caused by lazyness, or going too fast into the corner

Obligatory paint diag

Yeah, if you mean those ones that are like square blocks rather than a long bump across the width of the road. Ride round the 'block' on the right, as if you ride round the left of it, it will take you too close to the kerb (think drain covers, etc) and cause you problems if there's a parked car just past the speed bump.
