Scotland to Thailand

I am looking to ride from Scotland to Thailand sometime this year or next, no later.

has anybody done the trip already, is there any special requirements like visas, closed borders.

estimated time scale (not rushing)

any routes you can recomend.

any info would be great.

i hope to do this on my er6-f.

You cant ride directly to thailand due to not being able to take a foreign reg bike through Burma or China you would have to ship from the likes of India, l also belive thailand its self has resistrions on foreign bikes entering.

Its quite difficult to get a visa for Iran which you would will have to pass through also Iran along with India and pakistan require a carnet de passage which are expensive.


Time scale would be 3-4 months, costs around 8-10k
