Reg is GH05HZV

looks like it could have been a professional job as who ever took the bike took the bigass padlock they broke off the garage door and also the bike had a disc lock and a chain though the rear wheel as well, C**TS Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

Although when i was checking to see if any of my tools had gone as well i noticed a red handled screw driver that was'nt mine as it was an electrical one and i dont have any of those. Police guy that came out took it away and said it will take 3 weeks to check it.

So 3 weeks to wait and hear from that and also 21 days to wait for insurance company incase police recover it. And i cant afford another bike so no bike = no work = no wages which in turn means no rent so no house fucking great!!!!!

Today i got a call from the police saying that they have found my bike and it was on it's way to there impound. Thumbs Up Great i thought so i called my insurance company and said that the bike had been found with little damage to it the guy on the other end said he would call the impound.

2 mins later another call from the insurance people who informed me that the bike was a " total loss" ! Crying or Very sad

I have since spoken to the officer who came round and the PCSO who actually found the bike, and from what i here the front fairing and clocks have been smahed off and the wiring ripped out when it was hot wired.

Hopefully i can get to the impound place in the morning to take a few pictures of the bike and to say good bye to my pride and joy Crying or Very sad

My bike was considered a total loss last year,

I got a pay out of 800 quid, then bought the bike back for 100.

Worth checking it out. and remember, dont take their 1st offer at a payout. Haggle your arse off Very Happy Buy your bike back and fix it for buttons (depending on damage)

Well been to see the bike this morning and the damage is as follows.

All fairings and panels smashed off.
Ignition destoryed

Hole in crank case ( had been rode with no oil in it ) Shocked
Damage to my front brake as they cut or smashed my disc lock off.

A few pictures of the bike.

The fairings are still where the police found the bike as i have been there this morning.

Hopefully i can get another 1 but will have to wait and see what happens .

Posts like this are the reason why i keep mine in the kitchen even though i`ve got a garage,a big gate,a security light, chains and locks,a scary dog,an immobiliser and an alarm, and a copper next door.

Thieves....come and have a go if you think you`re hard enough! Cool

You know the thought of buy it back did cross my mind, although the hole in the crank case and the fact it had no oil in it kind of put me off as it cost mega ££££ to sort a nakered engine Very Happy

But yeah, an endruo headlight of some sort and side panels would look err defferent Very Happy

Just waiting for insurance people now, so fingers crossed.

even if the engine is screwed you could maybe get another one for around 100-200 quid maybe could be worth looking into though
