wavey discs and hh pads

i have recently bought a 1993 kawasaki zzr 400 and today realised the pads will need changing soon and the discs arent exactly good either, i have seen a set of wavey discs on ebay and as for pads i hear hh pads are good but what are sintered pads. Also the calipers on the front are gold tokico calipers and the rear is a black tokico caliper, could the front brakes have been uprated as surely all the calipers would have been the same colour standard also the fronts look way newer than the rear and will the wavey discs be okay on my bike as the standard discs are currently fitted (the person selling them says they replace the standard ones but most people on ebay say that)
