What he's referring to is if you piss the DVLA off enough with your numberplate they'll take it away. And you'll have to apply for a new one, which will most likely be a Q plate.

Q plates are normally issued to vehicles that you can't prove the date of manufacture on. They devalue the bike/car.

I've never heard of it done though, which is what N30 is getting at.

And the 'after' photos of where your number plate actually is don't work for me in the first post.
