And i've got a fucking eye infection!!!

Started off with a stye on my bottom eyelid, Just quite annoying really. Then I woke up this morning with a swollen eye! Doc thinks the stye might have popped in my sleep infecting the eye.
Off work today and probably tomorrow unless the swelling goes down, Someone cheer me up please. Crying or Very sad

I had conjunctivitis in both eyes and still had to go to work.

Had to put up with being called, "Pink Eye" for months afterwards.

As well as strange looks as it looked like I had just been raised from the dead.

So it could be worse. Laughing

I had a day off sick last week which was about my first in three years as well, I was sooo bored. Daytime TV really does suck.

Make a note when off sick:

If you are going to play the PS3 all day - have a think if your boss is one of your PS3 friends and as such can see that you are online. Thumbs Up

What else are you gonna do if youre ill?


Not that many illnesses mean you would be stuck in bed, you could have the shits stupidly bad - in which case I wouldnt be at work, but perfectly capable of playing on the xbox.

To be fair, I think his argument would be that if I can sit at home and just sit on my fat arse and play games then I can get into work and complete a usual day of sitting on my fat arse reading the internet. Very Happy

Seems to be getting worse...

It's a lot more purple in colour this morning, And starting to affect my vision as I can't open my eye fully.
Going back to the hospital when my OH gets up so she can look after the wee man.

There isn't much pain really, Just stinging in the corner of my eye as the skin has gone raw from all the water streaming out.

Yeah we have field engineers all over the country, you'd be amazed at the excuses they bring out when they're feeling a bit tired or feeble. Just watch out your 'non-existent' dog doesn't bite you or the post being shoved through the door doesn't give you a migraine...
