Came across this vid on this very boring sunday.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QWMi5zY3Zd4&feature=related
Cut to around 30secs and you'll see them drifting there sportsbike. Not normally one for stunting but that has gota take some bike controll!
There are another few bits of drifting throughout the video.
Might wana mute it to get rid of that god awful "music". ____________________ 1ST bike-08 YZF R125 in midnight blue. (sold)

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another. |

wow....
Those wheelies where they are just using body balance alone look insane.
Those power slides don't look hard though. Looks like what I do on the mini roundabout at the end of my road. I take it at about 15MPH, and it's sharp so the bike gets fairly lowish. I'm only in 2nd so I give it more throttle than necessary and the back end kicks out just like in this video.... sliding out but the rapidly rotating back wheel having only just a bit less grip rather than no grip, which is why it's still a controlled slide.
Well... my bike seems to do this on a wet day on this particular corner without any extra torque for the normal speed I take it anyway. I've just kind of gotten used to it.
I'm thinking it's way easier to control that kind of power on a 125 CG though, can't imagine being so precise on one of those in the video. ____________________ will never give up his CG. I look at my fuel gauge more as a progress bar than a fuel gauge.
G: With my GSXR I do often effectively use it as a scooter with a clutch in town.
ms51ves3: why does it need 500 miles? Are you teaching it how to be a piston? |
