I was going to buy a cheap 600 Monster but then I found my mate was selling one of his bikes off. I have always loved this machine as it is built of hooliganism. I just offered him £3500. I await his reply.

Apart from your Badger, what other bikes do you have? What's your day to day bike?

It would fetch 4.5K in auction. It is a hell of a lot of bike.

Laughing I was expecting something surprisingly modern.

Modern bikes just don't do it for you obviously. Karma Thumbs Up

Looks like it'll be proper fun if not too dissimilar from the badger in how it'll actually ride?

I do like riding modern bikes but not owning them. The Badger is rigid framed but the HT5 has a swing arm in a very light custom made frame and half decent forks

We used to call them Scramblers when we were kids. It was Scramblers that turned me onto bikes, I would much rather watch the Dakar or something like that than any MotoGP or WSB race. Thumbs Up

The Dakar rally is one of the only races worth a view.
I would refuse a Ducati/Aprilia RSV over the above bike any day. Old bikes put hairs on your chest. The only thing a modern Italian sports will put hairs on is your vagina.

Keep in mind that I keep modern bikes as I'm mechanically worthless and need something reliable to get me about... Soon enough though.

Personally, I would never ride one of them bikes or anything similar. I hate my bike at the moment as it looks dated an it's a 98 model. I'm bang into new bikes and just can't see the facination of riding 20+ year old bikes.

Some of them look really good though, I think them royal enfields? and them vincents?

I'd happily have both of those bikes... don't think I'd be ready to deal the maintenance though. Would feel super cool riding one of those Thumbs Up

Ahh a beautiful bike he has there, dare I ask what age it is?

I was overly tempted to by this '58 Enfield Trials yesterday, no doubt it makes the enfield look modern?

I've been everywhere on ex-military bikes and a sidecar outfit, people at college are genuinely interested!
