Hi all,
If anyone is interested, I have nearly completed my guide to de-restricting UK, German, French and Italian NSR125's. Hopefully putting a link to this guide somewhere will lessen the amount of questions about de-restricting imports, and things like 'what size jet do I use' etc etc.......

I'm just after a few people who are willing to have a quick flick through it, and see if they spot any problems / errors etc - i'm sure there will be a few Smile

Other than that, any feedback / constructive critisism greatly appreciated.

Errors etc that I am already aware of:
The powervalve section is incomplete (still awaiting more info)
I need to add a section about the sprocket sizes
Yes I do have permission from nsr125.de to use their exhaust pics!

To see the guide, go to the 125cc UK homepage. (click here) The guide is under the 'articles & guides' section.
To leave feedback: either drop a message here, or on the forums on my website.

Thanks alot!
Lee

one of the annoying things about doing the exhaust (i've done 3 so far) is the welds. maybe put something in there saying that you will break drill bits so have enough spare. also i've found that metal grinding bits really save on the hard work and they're quite cheap. just make sure you use an old, or someone's drill, as it'll wear the bearings much more than drilling.

You need to make sure you stock up on decentish quality 2/3mm drill bits to make the initial holes as these are the real killers.

yup-i agree!
and don't worry about drilling through the actual exhaust with these-they'll just snap!

also afterwards shake the exhaust down to get all the bits of metal out of the exhaust and try not to let them into the silencer-it can't be healthy for it.
