Advice on my first bike?

Right, im looking at buying 2003 Honda Clr City Fly 125cc, it has some 'bad points' listed also, main concern is that the speedo has stopped working, seller suggests that a new cable is probably needed.

Any advice?

Is it true that the cable probably just needs replacing and how much would it cost about to get fixed?

will be speedo cable, you can confirm this by unscrewing the cable from the clocks, if the filament turns inside then it must be a cocks issue - if it dosnt turn then likely its snapped - £10 or less from your local dealer

99 times out of 100 , if the speedo is not working then it is a faulty cable (£10 to fix).

I had a Honda city fly which i used to learn on , it was so good i ended up using it to commute 20 miles a day to and from work ,
The bike is bullet proof , never let me down , cheap to run and looks cool . Sold it for the same price as i bought it for 2 years later , incredible.
