I plan on selling my CBR600F 1999, it's done 21k miles, mechanically sound but has cosmetic damage to the RHS fairing, Nosecone and a scratch on the exhaust muffler.

I've looked at dealer prices second hand and on ebay to get an idea, my local dealer said it'd be worth £2000 privately in good condition, I've also seen a 2000 model with 8k miles on at a dealer for £2,895.

To make the bike 'mint' it'd need a replacement RHS fairing and nosecone, the exhaust scratch could probably be polished to be unnoticable. If I was keeping the bike, I'd probably leave/smarten the RHS fairing as it isn't particularly noticeable.

Taking into account the damage, and the fact it's due a service, my best estimate seems to be £1350 (privately, realistically accepting offers of £1200+)? I don't know whether that's over/under a reasonable expectation, I'm also aware that it's now pretty much winter.

I know they don't count for much, but in terms of accessories it has a dark DB-screen, R+Gs, Hugger, Scotoiler and Bagster tank cover.

It's in good condition with exception of said damage, has recently had new pads all-round, replaced headstock bearings at 19k, tyres are good, would be taxed with 4 months MOT left. I also have 2 keys, manuals, service books etc.

I know that values are subjective to a lot of factors, but anyone with better knowledge of the bike market offer any opinions?

Many Thanks.

Seems to be about right and in line with the Parkers guide:

£1245-1710 private and considering the fairing damage and need of a service, it's got to be at the bottom of that range. £1200-1250 would probably be fair (after haggling) so long as the damage isn't too significant.

I'd probably offer 1100-1300 but i like to lowball..so probs around the 1300 mark.
Although if you want to do it cheaper...say 2 glow sticks, bag of haribo and a pushbike...im a happy man Thumbs Up

Go for the higher value and haggle slowly down to or above the price you want.
