Part 1 help

I am taking my part 1 test in a week or so on my own varadero 125 the reason for this is because I cannot get anyone up here to give me lessons been waiting for several Months to get it going however no joy.

So as I have a bike and been riding for 14 years or so always on 125's though i would just go for the restricted test it is only £15 to take the test

So anyone have any pointers on this and what to practice in my works car park.

My weak points are the figure of 8 , not sure about the cone swerve thing.

The people I know who have took the test on the baby dero have all said take the bend in second and cane it as you come out and straighten up. I've been practising in my local car park where they do the cbt, they leave their cones there so I borrow them and set them up for figure 8 and slow riding control, basicly use your back brake to control your speed. I find the dero ( I have 1 ) easy to manoeuver at low speed and the brakes spot on for emergency stop. Just take 2 bags or something to a quite car park to practice the figure 8 and use the car spaces to practise slow riding. utube is great for demos of the mod 1 just do a search, remember it starts from when you get there so do your observations even entering and leaving the test area and once in the test area as you have to simulate being on the road and look for potential hazards. I'm doing mine on the dero after xmas. Good luck, let us know how you get on.
