After getting a puncture i decided id have a go at repairing my wheels myself.
The top man before me had fitted the widest rims possible to my Wr450, and obviosly the chain took mahoosive bites out of it, thinking of getting them done by a wheel refurbishment company, so being abit skint i thought id have a go myself, couldnt hurt right?

So i got the files out, working large to smallest, wet and dry (not much, got bored) then polish i dont think it came out too badly, i may even have another wet and dry/polishing session before the wheel goes back on.
Doesnt look too bad on the pictures, but look at the second from the top, gives you an idea!

What do you think? also, whats the best way of keeping a shine on them?

steve.

Looks good Thumbs Up

Best way to keep the shine on the wheel is keep on top of polishing.

You can give it a few coats of wax (like you would use on paint) to help extend the polishing intervals.
