Evenin'
I failed my DAS mod2 and because of the delay before being allowed to retake the test i've since moved 450miles away from that bike school and test center.

No problem I thought. I'll ring a bikeschool in Aberdeen get myself a half-day/days training to familiarise myself with the possible test route and get a DAS mod2 booked. easy! Sadly no such luck!

I thought this time of year bike schools would be getting quieter & looking for business but instead I'm getting the feeling they don't want a few hundred quid to show me round the test route and let me borrow a bike for my test Confused

So I'm looking for advice, do I...
* keep going round the bike-schools located near Aberdeen asking for training and a Monday or weekend (which I know has to be arranged with the DSA for an extra fee) DAS mod 2 test.

* buy a 125cc to use till I'm back down south next summer and can retake my DAS Mod2 with the great guys who trained me in the 1st place.

* wait till I move back south in the summer to retake my DAS mod.2 without getting a bike in the mean time and therefore needing extra training.

Hello,

Thats a pain! If I were you I would keep on trying schools in your new area, its better to do the test whilst its all fresh in your mind and then you have the feeling that its over and done with!

It seems strange people arent happy to take you on, its obvious you are at test standard to at least have passed your module one, which in my opinion is the worst one lol

I think you need to really make it clear to them that you want like some training as well to refresh yourself and get used to the bike- otherwise they might just think you are after just bike hire.

Where I did my training was really quiet when I booked up but by the time I completed it, they were really busy...not what I expected for this time of year!

Anyway, hope you get it sorted! Thumbs Up Smile

Cheers ClaireBear88 Thumbs Up

Gave the Bike school who'd said okay then didn't get back to me another chance.
They've since come back to me with a test on 7/12/09 I've given my details to get it booked.
Not heard anything after Wednesday and since i've not paid yet its not concrete but it looks like i've sorted a retake Mr. Green

So... It's now the 7th of December. By any chance did you get your test booked and have passed with only 2 minors yet?
