Car Stereo

Hi, I want a new car stereo. Nothing too fancy, but i want to be able to hook up my ipod to it. I only want a head-unit because i cant be arsed to mess around with speakers etc..

Car is a Subaru Impreza if that helps and i thinks its double sized face stereo in there at the moment...

You can get fascia adaptors. Basically cuts down the big gap into one the normal radio size.

Check Ebay for one and have a look on the back of yours in the car and see if it's a standard ISO connector. Most cars are nowadays so it's just a fascia adaptor you need.

Yeah i though of those actually after i posted....

Still, does anyone know of a decent stereo with ipod connectivity. I havent bought a car stereo for about 8 years

i bought a kenwod KDC something for under £40 from halfords this time last year. it has an aux 3.5mm input on the front for my ipod.

does the job.

they also sell the adapters to take up the gap left by single din units.
