Hello All,
New here couldnt find any where to introduce myself. So hello all now for the cheeky bit.
Daughter and I trying to get this dinosaur on the road.
Wondered if anyone can help with some information concerning that above bike.

Carburetor problem.
My daughter was putting the carb back together and managed to break the needle jet. (Long tube thing with holes down the side and hole through the middle.) She was wondering how tight she should do it up as it snapped.Durr
Cant find anywhere to get one or a carb any suggestions?

Fork Question
Had to replace the forks could not get RS100 forks for love nor money so got a set of RXS100 forks. Unfortunately lost the wheel spacer for the rs100 (spacer longer than the RXS) so cant make a spacer to use with the RXS forks.
Anyone know the dimension of the RXS front wheel spacer?
Its a drum brake model.

Any suggestions very welcome.

Hoped to have got it on the road by the end of November. But the way how things going glad I didnt tell my daughter which year.

Hello Thanks for your replies.
Awaiting a parts fiche for the bike.(Typical I order it just as the strike happens.)
See what information that brings up.

Hello All,
Well parts fiche turned up today.
30 seconds later yamaha part number
164-14141-42 described as nozzle main. (All other documents call it needle jet.)
Looking at the jet that fits the nozzle 125 is standard so that ties in.

Now trying to find the part and possible the Mikuni part number.

The hunt begins.

Hello Vincent,
Thanks for your reply.

Have looked at all the diagrams on their web page nothing matches. (their diagrams show a single piece jet.Mines a tube and a jet screwed into it.)

Have emailed them and just waiting for their reply.

I've used this place when I upgraded from a 24mm to a 28mm carb (to compliment some port work, oversize valves, modified cam timing and different cam profiles - although not on a Yamaha RS100 I hasten to add Wink

The 'series' number should be stamped on the main body as well as the size eg 182 P2 . The difference in primary and bleed jets is quite obvious, sounds like you have a bleed type.

May be worth a quick phone call.
