I have had one of these for a while and needed to actually use it today Very Happy so I was chuffed.

Anyway, I have lost the manual thing and I remember it being complicated.

I have the basic jist, blue on idle, when you rev it should go yellow as you feed fuel into it then if you leave it at say 6k rpm it should settle down to blue again so it isn't running rich when just sitting at one speed.

Is this correct? What else do I need to check e.g. revving down and up or what?

The carb has no air/fuel mix screw and it is flatslide type so the only adjustment I have is the size of jets and luckily I have few.

This is for an rs50 btw.

Thanks Karma

I have the instruction sheet for the Gunson's Colortune 500 (I don't think there was a manual as such). It's an A3 size sheet and it's a little fragile as it's been sat sitting on a shelf in my garage for about 30 years. I will attempt to scan it tomorrow and will post it if successful.

Hi, allymoss. I haven't forgotten. I'm having problems posting the attachment and I may need to seek advice from a geek that I know!

Who'd have thought, a manufacturer putting instructions for their products on their websites...
