Hello people,

Might have to bare with me on this one, new to the forums Smile

Own my first ever runner, had it for a few weeks now, worryingly im already finding major issues but cant quite pinpoint what it might be, thought if i explained the symptons you guys might be able to help.

Upon trying to start the bike, it will take up to 4 attempts on the electric start to turn it over, and a few twists of the throttle, when she eventually does fire up i have to keep the revs up for a while otherwise she will cut out.

Once set off the bikes power seems to dip down upon throttle, at low end revs then struggles to build up power all the way up to higher revs, but, after riding for 5-10 minutes this becomes slightly better, very strange.

It is drinking quite alot of fuel, and top speed is definatly affected, will only do around 85kmh which i know isnt good for a vx125 with 13000k on it (around 9000 miles i think)

I have been told so far to remove airbox and clean, found a little oil but cleaned out and remounted air box, bike still has same problems.

i know these bikes are a lot faster, she is bog standard no mods in anyway, dont want to go buying everything new if this problem is easily solved?

any advice would be much appreciated
