Right I`ve nearly finished repairing a RS125 which is for my MOD2,but it hasn`t got tax or mot.The log book is not in my name,I will get it MOTed in few days, but I can insure my 400 Fully comp and I will be able to ride any bikes I want. But the thing is can I get TAX with that certificate?I was thinking just to get insurance on the aprilia for 3-4 days untill I pass my test and just cancel it before that 14 days cooling off period like they call it.What is the best solution? Thanks

You'll need to show valid insurance for that particular bike to get the tax disc, so you'll need to take out a policy even if you do cancel it a few days later.
Also if i understand what you're saying right you were thinking of insuring a different bike and riding the RS on the third party extension. Im pretty sure your insurance will only cover you on different bikes if you dont own them and they have valid insurance in someone elses name.
If thats not what you meant then ignore the above Smile

Point to note on this.

If you take the policy out 14+ days before the start date and cancel before it starts, then you can get a full refund.
If you take the policy out less than 14 days before it starts, and then cancel after its start date. You WILL NOT get ALL your money back.
You will have to pay for the days used and because of this also hit with a cancel fee.

You maybe better off going for the Ebike monthly policy. Might be other co's who do the same as well.
