my vote is for the mikuni bd series downdraft carbs that are on my xz
with accellerator pump..

its bloody weird thing, the float bowl is at the top, the acellerator pump is just strange,

gimmee a flatslide any day Very Happy
it makes the most complivated cv carb now seem simple Very Happy

Maybe the resolution of the imagine isn't good enough but that's impossible for me to make out anything from it either.

Is there really performance to be gained from such fiendish contraptions?! Laughing

Hi

Looks like the biggest problem is the drawing. In many ways looks like an old down draft Weber or Dellorto car carb.

Some flat slides have accelerator pump circuits.

Shocked So nothing to do with wholegrain then Wink

Clearly whoever designed that was hoping to get the engine to do and when they got the carb straw, decided to show just how much designing they could do!

you can right click and veiw image to see the pic larger,

who knows if it has any proformance advantages, the bike has been off the road for 10 years so needless to say, every single little passage way in the damn things are blocked,
f knows how im going to get them all cleaned out,

funny you should say the ultrasonic bath, i was just googling for someone here in wellington who has one... of course google couldnt tell me anything Sad
ill go to my local bike shop and see if they know of anyone with one

apparently hyosungs are all using them,

if thats not a reason not to get a hyosung then i dont know what is Very Happy
