Hi.
recently bought a 1997 cr125, but as a non runner. Compression was totally down but previous owner told me he had put a piston/rings in it. You can push the lever by hand so must be very low - managed to start her up the other day and revved ok, but turned it off quickly as there was no water in it and didn't want to damage it.
Once put water in, it threw it out whilst running of the head gasket and was spurting out so again turned it off.
If a bike has lw compression, can it be the 'crankcase oil seals' as someone said, or is low compression normally piston, bore, rings or head gasket?
If i know this, i can then move forward lol.
Thanks, and any help will be greatly appreciated.
