Are they better with the pads on or to be used with bobbins?
Just looking at the adapters to convert the ones I have to bobbins after saturdays incident with the pads. Also are they easier to use with the bobbins?

I always thought it is easier with the bobbin type.
what I did with mine though, was to glue a couple of bits of old inner tube to the side of the adaptor hooks, just so it didn't scratch the swing arm.

I always find it much simpler with the bobbin type; less faffing about trying to get the pads to line up!
