I can't put this game down.

I'm only a level 21 soldier at the minute and playing on my own (the missus sucks)

what assault rifles do people have?
What Sniper rifle?
and what 3rd weapon?


I've been satisfied with a assault rifle I found near the start of the game, deals 57 damage with a 10 for round speed.

Im level 22 Beserker. Playing with my best mate and his missus who is brilliant at games.

I currently have about 800+ health already, over 205 shield HP and slow regenerating health.
I found corrosive, incendiry, shock and explosive artifacts so when i go into beserk mode i can smash people up using one of these.
Guns, i now have ability to carry 4. My favorite weapon now is a black support machine gun which fires rifle rounds. I have a deathly pounder rifle which is a triple shot camo rifle. A huge Rocket launcher with about 480damage points and finally some magnum looking handgun which is about 185HP.

Please no spoilers though, i like surprises!

what does it mean when it says like 85 damage x 11?

with the shotguns it means 11 pellets for 85 damage a pellet, pistols with 2x etc shoot twice with 1 click of the mouse.

Reached level 25 last night with the Beserker, i have some sick weapons now. I seem unstoppable. Further to what i mentioned in my last post i picked up a double barrel shotgun with 10x 88. Someone shot at me with it before i killed them and it nearly killed me in the two shots!

The game is a little strange because if you play to a point and then join a friends game and do missions with them, the missions you do with their game aren't complete on yours. So you level up more but when you play your game again you have to do them again.
I think its funny that when you exit and save and load up again, you have everything you stopped with and all money, weapons and ammo is there again! LOL

Yeah I've seen several threads about farming, I assume you save the game, attack an area, then go out and re-load the game and do the same thing.

Yeah you can do that, i quite enjoyed going back to the first part of the game at level 25 facing enimies that gave me jip at level 10. HAHA hhaaaa! BOOOM!

How does the enemy difficulty work in Boarderlands, is it that in certain areas the enemies are harder or do they just get harder as you level up?

I somehow stumbled into an "impossible" missions at level 10, I didnt realise and was just thinkning "wow this is fucking hard" I battled for about 30 minutes against all these super hard enemies before relising the difficulty, by then I had died several times, had no ammo and no health, in the end I just turned around and run all the way home to do a slightly easier mission

The first area 'Arid wastelands' im sure is occupied by a maximum of level 15 enemies or there abouts. This doesn't change, so when you go back and you are at a higher level they are the same as they were before.
You are meant to read through a mission and decide whether or not you are equiped for it.
There are usual build up missions to the main attraction, like taking out a boss.

yeah it was completely my fault , something about Sledges safe house, it also has "impossible" in big red letters, is this rating related to your level?

IE, is an Impossible to a level 10 a Normal to a level 30?

I imagine so, i cant recall seeing 'impossible' in the menu.
Missions are usually doable with 1-2 level higher.

It means how hard the mission would be to your current level.

I'm upto level 46, second play through, I want to finish this before Modern Warfare 2 comes out, then I'll be happy.
