I'm after a tank bag / tail bag for my chain and lock. It's to fit an xlr250, so enduro style.

Or a luggage rack....anything to save my dainty shoulders!

Any recommendations?

I've currently got the 'wants' on for bits for my bike so have these sites saved in my favourites, ready for my Christmas list Mr. Green

Racks and Bags and stuff

They're not cheap but they certainly seem to be the ticket for off-road or enduro style bikes Thumbs Up

Having had my Honda tool bag split and lose all my tools I reckon a good bag is worth paying for. They take quite a hammering in all the dirt and mud.

I've currently gone all 'Heath Robinson' and have a cheap little rucksack (£4) I got in TKMaxx, a cargo net and bungee strap to attach to the back of the bike. Works but does not look very pretty Rolling Eyes

I will give that a bash Tonka. It's only for my chain and lock.

maybe you want to buy that expensive gear, but its overkill for what the original poster wants.

a £10 tank bag off ebay will do the job

https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BLACK-TANKBAG_W0QQitemZ180430001822QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Motorcycle_Parts?hash=item2a0277569e#ht_540wt_900

certainly no need to buy custom made racks from america, and tank bags that are priced at £100 each

.......and Colin 1 if you read the whole post instead of jumping on the band wagon halfway through you'd have seen I explained that I'm currently using a cheap rucksack that, as long as it's attached well, will do. I also warned about cheap stuff breaking and the poster asked for something enduro style.

Personally, I don't think £34.50 for the little tool bag to hold chain and lock is outrageously expensive to protect what could amount to considerably more value in kit - my tools were worth well over £100 and they were lost because the bag was cheap and old and I hadn't realised how it would break - side rather than zip and not with a hole or gentle wear, a complete one off rip to open the whole bag.
