Well, kind of.........
On Friday, MrsGixer took delivery of our new twin buggy for the 2 littlest gixers:

Today i harnessed up my faithful hound, connected him via a twin leash to the buggy, and let him pull the 2 little Gixers along whilst they reclined in comfort.
Admittedly, i still had to walk along behind the buggy, but i reckon that can be easily solved by attaching a buggy-board to the rear axle:

This should allow me to ride along on the back, in an Eskimo stylee. Mush, doggy, Mush!! However, i fear that with my immense bulk to drag along, i may need a bigger dog. Or 2 dogs. Or 2 bigger dogs. Or an engine.
Yeah, i can see it now........ I pimped my pushchair. Westside.

Thats very cool... Reminds me of when I was 13/14. we had a decent amount of snow. My road was nicely compacted and I used my two jack russel terriers to pull me along in a sledge (I just held onto their leads and yelled "cats" and off they went), I was amazed at the speed we got up to, considering the meagre size of the hounds.
I was down the pub the other week discussing the possibility of towing baby Earls pram with my RC nitro monster truck... After a few hours and many beers, we decided a busa engine was the only way to go!

Tell you what, Mr Gixer how about I loan you 'The Grottie' and you can see how fast he and Geogie can get you?
I'd suggest that you leave the mini-Gixers at home for the test run though!!
On another note though the Newfoundland and Leonberger were both trained for carting but the carts they use in competitions etc. cost a small fortune! Personally I'd never have trusted the Newfie as he was a nutter, but the Leo would have been the most perfect 'doggy nanny' in the world, bless 'im ____________________ 'The core of a man's spirit comes from new experiences'
