Should be quite easy if you know the cdi wires and what go to the coil grey and black to coil from the cdi. The best way to tell what the light wires are so you can exclude them are take the magneto off but make sure you dont miss time the engine back up. If not pm me im sure my friend who is very good with electrics can help or can give you a guide of what to do over the phone. i work shifts so may be slow reply

Good Luck

Nice bike Razz

Pity its not a 1988 as I have a new loom for one sat here gathering dust Crying or Very sad

You could pick up a manual for a DT125lc mk3 and that should help you out a lot Wink

If you need a new loom try Yamaha first or Yahoo Auctions Japan

To be honest mate you might as well get all the electrics working as it won't take much more work, as you need to keep the battery and charging system anyway for the power valve,

The headlight and side lights run of the genny pretty much everything else runs off the battery.

Hi!

I just bought a 1986 yamaha DT 200r 37F.

I'm trying to reinstall a new stator and having trouble with locating where to connect the wires.

Any info would really help.

Thanks!

Thomas
