Job Centre worker Stuart Tinner, who lives at home with his parents, hit the bar with an amazing shot from 30 metres - and all he wore on his feet were socks!

Amazing!

I thought they were arguing the toss over whether to pay him as he did not drop kick the ball properly.

It was a punt rather than a kick... bless his heart! That's Saracen's new player budget blown for next year.

Surely you just drop the ball and kick it, like he did? Confused

Can't see what the big deal is with it all though, its not exactly hard to kick a ball over the bar Rolling Eyes

No, it's not. The challenge was to hit the crossbar though.

I don't think it even went over, it looked like it bounced back.

As has been said, it is to hit the crossbar which would be bloody hard from 30m

1:A drop kick is when the ball touches the floor as it is kicked,he didn't do that,he punted it as Annabella said, Confused
2:He bounced it off the bar which is the whole idea, Confused

Simple enough to know your sister is totally porkable Very Happy

I only saw the vid before (on another forum), having read the Yahoo link it would seem the guy actually plays rugby so it's not as though he was a totally random rugby fan sat in the crowd.

Anyway, from watching the vid, it isn't clear that it bounced off the crossbar, looked like it went over Rolling Eyes
