hi.

Is there a spray on product that I can use to wipe all the road salt and grime off the bike without needing any water, or would this not be a good idea?

I'm wanting to clean the bike so it doesn't corrode, but as I come home when it's dark, I can't see what needs cleaned.

I am looking for something I can clean the bike with in my garage with the light on.

Thanks for any help or advice.

Best thing to do is to rinse the salt off with cold water, once the bike's cooled down a little.

I wouldn't recommend dry scrubbing salt and road grime into the bike - especially if you're going to use that process on plastic painted bodywork. Unless you want your paintwork to look like it's been cleaned with wire wool...

Thanks for the advice. I'll just keep hosing it down after every ride and dry it off.

I have just purchased a can of ACF 50 so that will be getting applied during the week sometime after giving the bike a really thorough clean.
