Can't speak for pit bikes or buid quality. But I can say my Lifan engine in my cub (110, 4sp Semi auto) has been superb over the last 2,500 miles.

Rode Southampton -> Newquay and back and didn't burn any oil.

I had a Biaggi one. Was great never missed a beat. Only bits that needed replacing was a sparkplug, and front brake resovoir after binning it.

Only payed £300 for it in the local free ads paper.

depends on what's buggered with it.

engines can be bought new from £245 to £2975 (125 race engine). Thumbs Up
Edit: that is for an entire new engine
