Bad riding today...by me

The sun was shining the roads seem good and it was a day of bad mistakes by me

The journey begins with me going to Uni. Starts out normally then I start to get impatient in slow moving traffic (two way road) so I overtake a couple off cars. That was fine until there was someone blocking my side of the road so everyone overtakes one by one but me being impatient again decide to overtake the overtaking cars Luckily I made that. Got back in lane only for the bus in front to stop diagonally so I try and have a look to see if I can go around, just as I look out a big lorry flying towards me all I saw was his grill. There was enough space for me to get back in quickly.

After this I took it easy and concentrated more. Almost there now, a van in front so I leave space and cruise a long only to look to my right and see someone trying to overtake when it's a two way road with nowhere to go!

I made it to uni

After uni I go for a quick ride in some countryish lanes. I get a little excited and 'make progress' then see but escape. I go there quite often so I know that at the beginning there are quite a lot of horses and their shit so again take it easy.

Horse 1 - I see a horse coming towards me so I slow down and move to the far left. I usually nod and get a nod back but this old snob turned the other way

Horse 2 - I carry on and see another one coming towards me so I do the same, slow down and move over. This time the horse shits itself and runs up some ones driveway so I carry on.

Horse 3 - Round the corner I go only to be met by some traffic (2 cars) and a horses backside approaching a junction. The cars overtake but I decide to hang way back almost at walking pace because the junction is too close. The rider turns around and says thanks, that or she was talking to the old lady on the pavement

On my way home again. Just when I think I've made enough mistakes I make another. This one quite scary. Following one of those big dump trucks, he has to slow a lot to let people through and there is no chance for me to overtake safely. I've been following for about 5 minutes, he slows down again and so do I but then he braked suddenly to stop and let the bus through. It was down hill and I only JUST stopped before being in the back of it, I think my tyres made a little squealing noise as well. I would have been in the truck or had a Range Rover up my backside!

So I now know I have a lot to learn. Need to be more patient and pay attention more

Yeah, on days like this, just appreciate that you got home, put the bike in the garage and have a beer :p.

I hate having days like that- whenever you do something stupid you always ask yourself why you did that lol

I've learnt form the mistakes I made so hopefully next time I'll be more careful. My bike is filthy as well!

I came home and spent the rest of the time dying on MW2
