Hi.

Anyone know where I can get a Breath Guard for a HJC IS16 lid?

Got my lid last year from the NEC and never knew it had no breath guard till I got home.

Wasn't an issue at the time as the GSX was being restored most of the winter. Now, it's becoming an issue. I've looked on the net and cannot find them. Anywhere.

Any info would be most useful. Thanks. Thumbs Up

I have a HJC lid with one and to be honest there is little difference between the official HJC guard and a Foggy - I have had both. They both attach in exactly the same way. Velcro to the front and on either 'wing'.

Edit - official ones: https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HJC-Helmet-breath-guard-with-ventiation-holes_W0QQitemZ120496074340QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Motorcycle_Helmets?hash=item1c0e202e64#ht_500wt_1165

The Foggy breath guards are fine ~ you can also use it with a second helmet too, rather than relying on the HJC one.

Being in the fume roads of England, it makes sense to use a Respro filter mask. If you use a Fog City visor insert on your visor, you'll prob. find that you don't need either the Fogg breath guard, nor the Respro filter mask.

Personally I'd rather use the Respro filter mask. Mine turns black within a month. All that carbon soot would otherwise just go into your lungs ... Sad
