Bound to be cheaper, and after Orange pretty much matched o2 with contract prices, lets see if tesco can rattle their cage.

Don't expect it to be any cheaper. It's a partnership with o2 so i'd expect to see them sticking pretty much with the same tariffs. Although I'd love to be wrong on this one.

Apple control the price not Orange, O2 or Tesco so don't expect discounts it will be the same when it goes on other networks next year.

As people have stated above, Apple do control the price of the Iphone which is why we only saw price changes of up to 11p with Orange.

I feel the only movement for change will be to address the balance of txt messages against the talk time. We might see with Tesco an adjustment to the normal tariffs that we come to expect. For example, instead of o2 current deal of 600mins and 500 texts. We might find Tesco will offer 600mins and 1000 texts Thumbs Up
