hi all,
as in the title.
my mate fancies a quad (travels down a lot of farm tracks & has been offered a 200cc quad bike)
doesnt fancy another trail bike.
he has a full drivers licence.
how hard is it to insure these things?
is it expensive? car prices or bike prices?
cheers,
GAZ

A quick goole brings up plenty of places that do it. A lot of which do bike cover as well.

Prices like any ins are going to vary a lot. If he works on a farm or such may be able to get a good deal via farm ins co.

Price wise it should be very reasonable. There is no long history of paid out claims for quads as they are a relatively new phenonemum on the roads.

for me on brothers quad bike, 650 raptor.. its about 490 tpft.. with 1 year no claim.

200cc...fair if you arent doing stupid roads..about 60mph easy..but couldnt see alot faster.

But, road legal one...to insure around £300-£450 depends on where you go!
