Has anyone out there changed his or her headlight bulb for a brighter one?

If so what type of bulb have you changed to?

Yeah. Sod the normal crap bulbs and replace them with 45/40's from M&P
easiest way is to undo the 2 bolys holding the speedo/tach unit in place and then disconnect the speedo cable. This'll let you move it to one side or the other to swap the bulbs over. they cost me a couple of quid per bulb-well worth doing.

didnt think about changing to brighter bulbs, the ones in my nsr really dont help me see anything at night, have to go full beam just to see a few meters in front at times!
