Broke it again today, well at least it broke!
Has a very odd rattly noise coming from the rear so investigated and found a bit of metal rubbing on the chain in the guide.

It sits like it is in the picture except it was inside the guide so between the chain and rubber.... thus the chain was rubbing on it. there is actually a hole in the guide it hooks into though so seems like it should almost be there. Confused

Should it be in there doing something?

No as its got a drum, also its the other side.

As i say the bit of metal was INSIDE the guide. I'm just holding it in place so you get the idea.

No its not meant to be there. That is the same one as on my xr400 an it doesn't have any metal in it.

Maybe it made it's own hole there?
